Halloween night (31st)
6 PM-8:30 PM
The haunted house is designed for children 12 and under. It gives children a mildly scary and safe Halloween experience. There is NO excessive blood and gore. NO ONE will chase or jump out at the children. If needed I can turn on bright lights within the haunted house if children become too scared. The haunted house is a maze built within the home to take trick-or-treaters on a journey to the haunted graveyard. It consists of static displays, scary music, and a few flashing lights to add to the atmosphere.
I ask parents to accompany their children through the haunted house to quell any of their children’s fears. It is best to experience the haunted house prior to Halloween night for shorter wait times and longer linger times.
The Haunted House Maze: The trick-or-treaters begin their journey visiting the witch’s house. After they travel down a hallway of cobwebs and spiders to reach an area plagued with bats, crawling with rats, and occupied with two skeleton filled coffins. The alligator infested swamp with its large snake and dragonflies is their next encounter. Passing though the skull doorway the grim reaper and a wall of souls greet them. They enter the newest attraction after ducking under the reaper’s staff and going through a doorway. They are now face-to-face with a large pumpkin monster guarding his haunted pumpkin patch. The glowing jack-o-lanterns wall marks the entrance to the eerie and ghostly grave yard dominated by a large scary tree. The tree appears to be munching on its latest skeleton victim as a witch waves from its branches to the trick-or-treaters. Looking closely, they can see the many victim skeleton skulls and bones encrusted within its bark, as well as, a glowing red heart within a protruding ribcage. The journey draws to a close after pushing aside the large cobweb to exit the graveyard. Remember to get your treat for surviving the harrowing journey.
One strobe light is used and all materials were stored in the garage (possible minuscule amounts of mold could be present)
; therefore, be advised in case your child could have any adverse reaction to either of these items.

Fitness Boot Camp?
An owner in The Reserve at Westridge, D'mitri McFarland, is a certified personal trainer with 14 years experience. He is offering classes and private lessons to residents. D'mitri proposes having Fitness Boot Camps right to our communities.
In March D'mitri started a Fitness Boot Camp at the Amenity Center in The Reserve at Westridge, with great response from neighbors and surrounding neighborhoods. He would like to expand and reach other communities. By bringing Boot Camps to local neighborhoods he can offer convenience and low rates.
Please let D'mitri know if you have any interest in getting a Fitness Boot Camp started in our community. D'mitri McFarland, CPT Dmitri.firstname.lastname@example.org
With the growth of our community, the Social Committee has made some changes. We hope you will join us in making the year 2014 a social one.
